Remarks | I was outside in the parking lot during a friends wedding reception at Chenal Country Club in West Little Rock when the fireball appeared. I have seen quite a few meteor showers and this one easily dwarfed all previous sightings. It was a single object, bright green in color and had a glowing copper colored tail behind it, bright enough to light up the ground. It was massive and it was incredibly fast but not a sound was heard. Two red flashes in quick succession lit up the sky around it as it shot through the sky. The three other witnesses and myself yelled out with considerable surprise as it passed. None of us had ever seen anything like it. I hope I get to see this again someday. Truly a sight to behold. Keep looking up everybody... |
