| Remarks | It was so weirdly parallel to the horizon and low. Maybe 10,000 feet heading straight for Sandia Crest. I wondered if it was a satellite falling out of orbit. My wife had enough time to turn back towards me to yell at me for shouting, back to the meteorite thinking it was only an airplane, then back to me again like I was stupid for making a big deal about an airplane and back to the meteor a final time when she finally understood why I was shouting. And we both watched it another 2 seconds or so before it burned up. It was huge! |
