Experience Level | 2/5 |
Remarks | I was on a flat-ish area with lower terrain (river valleys) in front of me, I had a trees to my left and right, and a narrow V of horizon in front of me (along the interstate). The meteor began lower than the surrounding trees and quickly hit the horizon. The angle of I71 there is the main direction reference---It started maybe 4 deg left of the interstate and ended 2 deg right. I tweeted with a time stamp of 1139pm, but it took 60 or 90 seconds to compose it. (I was going like 75mph.) |
