Reports Report 1105l (Event 1105-2022)

Observer
Name Elisha B
Experience Level 4/5
Remarks This was remarkable. I have reported several fireballs to the site but I've never seen anything like this. It looked like we had gone to war or that rocket had exploded in its ascent and the explosion intensified and then broke apart and the burning pieces were falling all around it. I heard what sounded like a distant explosion. A slight boom and whooshing sound. 4 mins later I saw a skinny fast green meteor just a few degrees higher and slightly to the left of it. It traveled from up right to down left though and not straight up to down like the initial fireball did. I HAVE NO CLUE if that was related to this incident or not.

Remarks Sounded like an explosion in the distance with a little bit of a whoosh sound to it.
Delayed Sound
Observation Yes
Remarks There was a distant boom sound and the worship followed followed by a more sounds as it broke up.
Persistent train
Observation Yes
Duration 5s
Length 10°
Remarks It was like a rocket had blown up and was falling back to the ground. Looked like balls of fire falling after the explosion that just barely burnt out before hitting the horizon. There was a bit of glow that followed behind the balls.
Terminal flash
Observation Yes
Remarks It was almost blinding. I was walking and looking up at the stars. Noticing how clear it was and how well you could see the stars despite the bright moon. I caught the blinding glow in my peripheral vision and missed the initial onset of the fireball coming into the atmosphere. I saw it increase in brightness and grow bigger. Then the bits, that it exploded into, drop like balls of fire almost to the horizon before burning out.
Fragmentation
Observation Yes
Remarks Please see above I blended the answers in that comment.
