Reports Report 1081aw (Event 1081-2013)

Observer
Name Nick P
Experience Level 2/5
Remarks Here is my visual experience ...I was driving from Florida going home to pennsylvania and I got off of exit 1-81 towards West Virginia...once I got off the exit I drove towards Berkeley Springs,WV I was just a couple miles from Berkeley Springs it was about 12:30am on May 18th, 2013 and the sky was slightly cloudy and the moon was shining half mass when all of the sudden I saw the clouds and the sky starting to turn blue I thought to myself "what the hell is going on." I was thinking maybe someone was setting off fireworks but I was wrong, and then a blue greenish shooting star/Fireball came flying out of the clouds with sparkling white debris like diamonds shining bright as the shooting star/fireballs tail. It frighten me for second thinking "is this the end is this a meteor about to impact earth" but then it just disappeared or burned out I'm not sure what happened to it or where it went. I almost wrecked my car because I was so focused on it. I felt like I was in slow motion, it was a very crazy experience that I've never witness before and I have seen shooting stars/fireballs before but never like that. If you can contact me ASAP to give me info about what that object was I really would appreciate that because I cannot stop thinking about it
