| Remarks | I live in Berkeley Springs WV and the trajectory was directly from the East to directly West toward Gt Cacapon, WV. When I first saw it, I thought someone had a spotlight up on the hill above me and then realized it was too bright. It came directly over our house, It was big and bright with sparks coming off it and lit up the whole sky. It disappeared over the mountain and about 2 seconds later I heard a loud boom. Sounded like a clap of loud thunder. I ran in the house and got on my computer to see if anyone else had seen or heard it. Apparently I was the only one. |
