Experience Level 3/5
Remarks Meteor was moving extremely fast and appearing very low in the sky so that at first we thought it was an airplane crashing. We were driving south bound at about 70 mph when meteor appeared in our line of sight and streaked from left to right until we lost sight of it behind some trees on the west side of the highway between exit 9 and 10. Sighting was corroborated by others in the area via Twitter.
