Difficult to tell the distance away but I would guess if something landed it would be on the north side of the river perhaps in the hills over that side (Scolty or one near Scolty). It definitely lasted long enough for me to see it, say and point “look at that” and for my autistic 20 year old son (who isn’t great at following pointing) to then look up and spot it too.

A second or two after it appeared there was a soft muffled distant “bumff” noise coming from behind (to the left) of where I saw it. More gentle than a boom.
