| Remarks | The arc of the meteor's path seemed like it was going to intersect with the center line of the road, if the road stretched straight far enough. I saw it for much of its descent, though maybe not the beginning. |

| Persistent train | |
|---|---|
| Observation | Yes |
| Duration | 5s |

| Remarks | Long white streak at first that did not persist with a black cloud surrounding the fireball. There was a large oval puff of black, when it broke up, that persisted after the rest had disappeared just above the tree line. |
| Terminal flash | |
|---|---|
| Observation | Yes |
| Remarks | The meteor seemed to suddenly slow, then flared and shattered, leaving a large black cloud behind, persisting, while roughly half-dozen fragments formed a string of pearls that all faded to invisibility about a finger width above the tree line. |
