| Remarks | relatively clear night. half moon to the south, fireball in view for 3 or 4 seconds. surprised at how slow it travelled compared to the thousand of meteors i've seen over the years.lost behind tall trees and railway viaduct. wife caught last moments of it. i thought light yellow, wife thought white. fireball came from behind me and only saw it when it came into my field of view. first i've seen but i was in no doubt as to what it was after observing the night sky for decades. |
