Remarks This beautiful brilliant fire ball was so close to me I thought it was going to crash into the mountainside! I live in a canyon with various mountain ranges around me. The fire ball appeared through an opening in the cloud cover...I could see brilliant stars within the opening then the fire ball shoots out of the opening...angling downwards near the mountainside...the fire ball disappeared behind the mountainside! What a spectacular event! Never witnessed such a thing! Hope this is helpful!
