The object was so big and bright - like a bright moon in a dark sky, and it was so big that I was certain it was close; I couldn't believe my eyes. The orange tail was long (about the length of my hand if I held it up in comparison). I was astounded at the amount of detail I was able to note in such a short visual. It streaked across the sky at an enormous speed and disappeared from my sight within 3 seconds at most.
