i was driving and happened to be looking right at the spot where it occurred. my car is loud so i could not hear any noises from it. i have never seen anything like that before, but in my natural disasters class at MCC we just started our section on impacts yesterday. i will be telling my class about this to see what they have to say about it as well!!

it flared up just about a second after it became visible and broke up into two fireballs and then went dark

the fireballs that came off the main one were both of similar size, one went slightly lower than the other one and both extinguished quickly after breaking apart.
