| Remarks | This sighting stunned me. It was at least five times as large, bright and brilliant as any meteor I have seen before. It was a distinctly shaped round white ball with a long, slim (gaseous) tail. Both the lead mass and the tail disappeared quickly. I was in the car with the windows up and the radio on so I wouldn't have been aware of any slight noise outside. The sighting left me shaken and calling my friends to express my excitement. |
