I don't know what I saw, at first I thought it was some kind of advanced aircraft. It moved faster than anything I knew existed. It was in orbit directly in my line of sight. I saw a flash and what I thought was a shooting star but it didn't travel across the sky like others I've seen. It just appeared with the flash in the middle of the dark sky for about a second or two accelerating away leaving bright trail of light behind it but then it just vanished. It was very bright and in no way subtle but it only last a second or so. I was driving south on US69 and I saw it SSW.
