| Remarks | I was driving in late afternoon and saw this phenomenon up in the air ahead of me. The sun was going down behind me, and there was a half moon already up in the sky in the same direction I was looking. The thing I observed looked like a star on fire, going horizontal across the sky, above the tree line and very close. The point where it disappeared was above a river. The whole thing was all the same color… fiery white-ish, like how a star looks at night, but with a flaring train behind it. And it was still light out. The whole object/train was definitely way brighter than the half moon behind it in the distant sky. Also, I didn’t understand the question about how long the train was in degrees… if I had to guess in yards, I would say 50-100, but it was hard to tell as I don’t know how far away it was. The train was pretty short, did not extend far across my field of view. |

| Remarks | The train looked exactly like the beginning of the object but had fire-y motion to it. Before the beginning part disappeared, I saw flares of the fiery part break off. |
