Remarks | We were in our car so didn't hear any noise. Though it did travel some from left to right, it mainly went down... and it almost appeared that it changed directions as it got lower, but just barely if it did. And the speed seemed to vary as well, like it slowed down. I've seen "shooting stars" before and they go so quick you can miss them easily, but this lasted for a long time. I kept expecting it to end and it kept going... at least 2 seconds (long for a "shooting star." My wife saw it too. It was bright white and if the full moon was the size of a volleyball, this was about the size of a baseball or a softball. Way bigger, brighter, and longer in duration than anything I've seen of this nature. I kept waiting to see a bright light in the distance, but never saw one. |
