| Remarks | I saw the meteor walking home and then read about it in a newspaper article a couple days later and thought it was important to also make a report. The meteor was very low and I thought it was going to hit my neighbors house before it fizzled out or went out of my sight behind their house. It was extremely low, long and bright. I couldn't believe it. My husband was with me, he thought it was fireworks until he read the paper. Fireworks do not go side to side and there was no boom or bang. It was just over the roof approximately 300 feet from where we were walking. |
