I was looking westerly up in the sky while I was outside playing with my dog because I saw a plane circle are a few times in sky in that direction. A few minutes later the plane moved along and I saw the green fireball appear. It was moving very fast from the north towards the south. There was a good amount of cloud cover at that time so I was only able to see the fireball travel about 40 degrees before it disappeared behind some clouds. The green trail was about 20 degrees long. I did not hear any sounds after the fireball disappeared. I hope this information helps.
