Reports Report 667apl (Event 667-2013)

Observer
Name Charles H
Experience Level 3/5
Remarks The first flash that was about as bright as a full moon caught my attention at which point I looked in the direction of the meteor. I only got to see little more than a second of the event. From the first point I saw the meteor it was north east of my location at around 50degrees elevation at burnout it was east northeast at around 40 degrees. Several pieces of the meteor flickered before going out near the end of the event very much like the russian meteor did. If I was to guess I would have to say some pieces made it to the ground. It's color was a teal color like you would expect to see from an arcing high power line. I will need to refine my information using landmarks and stars to better pinpoint elevations and to get more exact directions for you. If interested information should be available in a few days from this report. E mail or call and leave message for a return call. (numbers not in phone go to voice mail).
