| Remarks | It resembled a single pyrotechnic streamer--a little fuzzy, as opposed to a single bright point--but moved much faster and traveled almost straight downward. I saw this one while driving home from work (hence "I don't know" for sounds, above) on Thursday evening 10/7. Time was from my car clock, which I believe is correct +/- 30 seconds EDT. This was NOT the fireball widely reported reported on Friday 10/8, which I learned of only while preparing this report. |
