| Remarks | I observed the fireball while driving South along the interstate and couldn’t hear any sound associated with the event. It was brief, and high in the sky. I thought it was the most unusual shooting star I’d ever seen, and it wasn’t until I saw another report about a much larger fireball in the area a bit later that I understood what I had seen. |
