I feel I may have heard it but really not sure. Flash was amazing, never seen anything like that. Smoke trail was very clear and did have a bit of a spike on the left end (northern) and the whole thing widened and faded too quickly for me to get my phone out. I was shooting the Fish Head Nebula with narrow angle otherwise I may have caught it in the big camera.

Was facing the other way when saw flash. Very bright like a camera flash. Not a phone flash. Turned around and saw smoke trail above Capella heading from West to east.
