Remarks It looked like a comet - fiery tail. After it disappeared, there was a smoke "tail/train" - Similar to when a firework burns out. Not sure how long it was.

Remarks We were facing east - laying on the ground star-gazing - when there was a very bright light to the right and slightly up (south). The light was so bright, I initially thought it was a flashlight being shined on us.
