| Remarks | Very bright green orb, no tail or streak behind it. It seemed to manifest right over us, very low on the horizon... Then zipped across the sky and disappeared behind the trees. Entire viewing time was only 2-3 seconds. Occurred approx. 8:23pm on Oct. 2, 2021 in western part of South Carolina, in a very rural area. It was dark, clear skies, a few stars had come out by that time. But it did not look like any shooting star or meteor shower I had ever seen. It looked like a large, round green orb in the sky. |
