| Remarks | It was so large and bright that it almost looked like a crashing, burning airplane. I was bracing myself for impact because of how large and close it appeared. I was headed East on Hwy 70 in Raleigh, and it appeared in my upper right field of vision, then traveled down and to the left almost to the horizon before disappearing. |
