| Remarks | We were pulling out of PNC Arena, and I was looking towards Carter Finley Stadium when I saw a bright orange ball of, what looked like fire seeming to drop very quickly out of the sky. It was very bright and appeared to have bits of fire dropping off from the ball. There was a line of tall trees, and then the stadium wall….what I saw seemed to drop behind the stadium. Looked like it was so close to us, I would have sworn it must have hit the ground just on the other side of Carter Finley. First thought it was a shooting star, then thought a small plane was on fire falling from the sky. Glad to find out I wasn’t imagining this. |
