The fireball I saw seemed very close and almost as if I saw a firework with flames burst and fall into the woods across the street (burning out before it made landfall)

About 5 minutes later I did hear a boom, but it sounded like a gunshot(which can be common in our rural area, but not usually at 7:30pm)
