| Remarks | We were traveling east bound on 64 from Waynesboro to Crozet, had just passed the overlook at approximately the 98 mile marker when I saw it coming over the mountain on our left headed to the right. It had a long tail and seemed very close. We were in the car, so didn't hear any sounds. |

| Remarks | It was a long train...no idea how to determine it. From the car on the interstate if I were to put one finger on the fireball and the other at the end of the train, it would be about 6-10 inches. |

| Observation | Yes |
| Remarks | It came across the sky in a low arc from left to right, above the mountains to our left as we traveled east. We saw it for several seconds and then it flashed a bluish green, then white again and it was gone. |
