There was a plane flying around the fireball. The entire reason I was looking so closely at the sky was because I noticed a plane flying unusually fast in the sky and much lower than what seemed normal. When I saw the fireball I saw the plane flying towards it and towards my direction. I also felt like the fireball was unusually close to the earth.

As it got closer to earth it began to dissipate. Nothing dramatic, no bright flash. It just fragmented and disappeared. There was a plane flying around the fireball which was interesting.
