Remarks This was special indeed, but what made this even more special was that we were at a Cub Scouts bridging ceremony where the Cub Scouts who have earned their "Arrow of Light" badge (the highest acheivement a Cub Scout can make), bridge to be Boy Scouts. The boys were walking across the bridge over the lake and this came in the same direction (parallel to the bridge) that the boys were walking. The story of the Arrow of Light is that Akela shot a flaming arrow into the air which guided and saved the tribe elders, who were lost in the mist and fog. On the way home, my wife and I were talking about it and she told me that one of the mothers said that she didn't think it was a meteor; that it was a firework set off in the distance as an effect for the ceremony. That made me wonder whether I had been duped and whether what I was was real - though I still thought that it was real or that that was one heck of a good effect, so I was happy to see reports of this on the internet.
