Reports Report 667ut (Event 667-2013)

Observer
Name Seth D
Experience Level 2/5
Remarks The meteor strongly resembled a spark released from a rocket firework, except brighter and faster. It was like sharp white point of light with a pale turquoise (more blue than green) color coming from the trail it left in its path. It was about as bright as an airplane on landing approach. The trail it was leaving was almost as bright at first.

Remarks It started out bold toward west from where I faced and faded as the meteor broke up. It had gaps, had bits of meteor falling from it, and was turquoise in color.

Fragmentation
Observation Yes
Remarks It didn't fragment much at first, instead leaving an easily visible smoke trail of pale turquoise color. As the meteor came closer to the direction I was facing, the meteor produced less smoke trail and begin flickering, leaving behind variously sized chunks of meteor which fell very slowly toward the earth and each remained visible for only fragments of a second.
