This was my request published to Facebook on early morning of 06SEP2021: Meteorite Did anyone see the large flaming yellow meteorite as it burned through the atmosphere at 22.47 last night, 05SEP2021? It was travelling silently but very swiftly and briefly westward over St Julians woods. Viewing Position: New Road (B4236), Ultra Pontem, Caerleon roughly halfway between the Malthouse and Bulmore Road. Declination: Very roughly 25 - 30 degrees (low over St Julian’s Woods). Duration: Approximately 1.5 seconds. |
