This object showed long enough I had time to tell friend there is a shooting star. He had time to turn and see the break and the object burn out.

About half way during flight there was a flash and a visible flash and a fragment that showed for a very short period. Probably less than a second. The main body continued for a second or two. There was a witness to this.
