driving east on 301 toward the bay bridge approx 60mph saw it light up right it front of me at about a 50-60 degree angle in elevation. the trail was quite long and bright. the tail lasted a long time - I did experience some enhanced RF propagation using FM 146.52MHz for apporx 5-10 mins using a 75Watt mobile ham radio.
