| Remarks | I thought at first it was an aircraft that may have broken up and exploded in the sky. It was too large to be a shooting star. I live far away from city lights so I had a very good dark blue background of early evening sky to observe the object. As it streamed across the sky I knew it wasn't an aircraft, not a shooting star and not a comet, as I saw no tail. It disappeared straight down after having traveled across the sky, I lost sight of it when it went below the tree line in my backyard |
