Reports Report 4983b (Event 4983-2021)

Experience Level 1/5
Remarks We were camping and surrounding a fire when this light passed over us. The group I was with was made up of 10 adults and 10 kids (ages 6 to 16). Some folks were drinking, but many (including me) were completely sober. The light passed directly over us and seemed very low for a shooting star or meteorite...we initially thought it was a stray firework, since the light was colourful and fast (but no whizzing sound). And the way it just disappeared was interesting as I thought we should have been able to see the light slowly disappear (which is not how it played out).
