Reports Report 667wk (Event 667-2013)

Observer
Name Emily S
Experience Level 3/5
Remarks Was with another person and we ignored the meteor at first because we thought it was an aircraft. It was bright white and moving west to east roughly parallel with the northern horizon, in the lower portion of the sky. Helicopters and airliners are very common here. Its tail became bright orange while the head was bright lime green. It began to show an obvious gradual arc downward and we lost sight of it because it dropped behind the buildings of the plaza where we were driving. I felt certain it would have left a vapor trail if it had been daylight but the sky was too dark to see any such thing. NOTE: I am not sure about the exact time. Didn't check my watch.
