Remarks | I was on the lake when I noticed an area on a mountain towards the NW was lit up yellowish in color as if the moon was going to rise from that spot, there were also clouds in that area which seemed to also be lit up. Approximately 2 seconds later I saw a small orange fireball. It appeared to be travelling at the same speed as which a commercial jet would be traveling. From the WNW to the East. The lit area along with the fireball dissipated within about two seconds. I did not look at the time when this occurred, I estimated the time being between 12:15-12:30 AM. |
