| Remarks | Having observed celestial objects among amateur astronomers for 30 yrs., the size, apparent spherical volume, nearly vertical angularity of arc and the sheer velocity of this object was unprecedented in my experience. Falling at such a rapid rate but looming so large in our sky, I’d have anticipated a far warmer tone to this meteor than its spherical shroud of light blue with a white core. Imagined it likely to be among the final alpha capricornids visible in the July 2021 shower. Wow. Just, wow! |
