Reports Report 4063ch (Event 4063-2021)

Observer
Name David T
Experience Level 3/5
Remarks Was driving home with my fiancee when the two of us noticed the most incredible flash / streak of light - the colors were incredibly vivid and it felt as if it cast off a majorly orange/yellow hue - but the actual streak itself was surrounded with vivid blues, greens, etc. Luckily, my car not only timestamped the event but I was able to pinpoint the exact location and time the event occurred. At exactly 23:15:34.1 seconds, it can be observed that a small pinpoint of a meteor is beginning to emerge as it travels down and to the left of the viewer, additionally, it also appeared to be growing larger in size as it descended. At 23:15:35, just about a second later, the largest flash could be observed. Unfortunately, the video is captured using footage optimized for my vehicle and sadly doesn't replicate the incredibly unique experience we got to witness!

Remarks The video I am providing from my car does not at all do it justice, it was a spectacularly large streak of light - and the flash was not necessarily explosive, but looked as if a flare was shot out of the heavens and it illuminated the area.
