| Remarks | I was camping remotely on North Padre Island Seashore National Park (~12 miles south off the end of the park road). I was seated facing north when I saw a shooting star, but it was brighter and thicker than any one I had ever seen. It really stuck out, and I realized the next day that it may be the fireball witnessed across Texas at the same time/day. |
