| Remarks | I was driving home and it was twilight, still a little light out. Facing east heading into north Austin, it started pretty much straight up in front of me and streaked down to the right. I thought it was a meteor, it started way up in the sky and flowed like one (I’ve watched meteor showers since I was a kid) but it was so big and bright and flashed some, I thought fireball but then thought, “no way I’d be that lucky”. I figured it must be fireworks or something but then I saw some other reports. I knew it! I’m so excited! I got such a great view of it too!!! Just streaking down the sky! |
