| Remarks | I've seen shooting stars before, but none of them were as bright or lasted as long as this one. I could see it travel for about two seconds before erupting in fire, and then I couldn't see it anymore. It appeared as if it had a green trail, and the eruption was a reddish-orange. Easily one of the neatest things I've seen in the sky, and I hope I find out what it was. |

| Remarks | It appeared for about a second as a green streak moving across the sky and then seemed to erupt into a ball of fire toward the end of its streak. It was much closer to the horizon when this happened. |
