Remarks | The angle it came in appeared to be an impact angle, and appeared to be about 285 ft. to 300 ft. above ground level (compared to cell tower heights), viewed with a friend. It seemed extremely close and surprisingly near. The tail was a dipping one, like skipping on the atmosphere and incoming, then it seemed to explode, blue, red, gold and was gone. We had our windows up, no music on and were quietly talking when it leapt out of the night sky. I checked the clock and it read 11:12 pm, but it took about 10 seconds to have the wearwithal to check the time. It is the second time in about 5-10 years, I have seen an "meteorite" on Hwy 84 and the third time since 2013 I have seen a streaker! |
