Remarks I've never seen a meteor this close. I was travelling on a wooded road and saw it through a clearing. At first I thought it was a small plane in trouble. Then I realized it was too small to be a plane. It was really, really bright and moving very fast. The brightness is what got my attention. It looked like a fireball. When I came out of the pocket of woods I looked for a fire or explosion, but saw and heard nothing. My guess is that it landed on Chestnut Ave or somewhere on the Blakehurst property.
