Reports Report 4002ky (Event 4002-2021)

Observer
Name Erica R
Experience Level 1/5
Remarks I thought it was a helicopter at first. Then I thought the helicopter was on fire. Then I realized it was falling more than flying and was some sort of ball. Then the fire seemed to go out but a bright white tail could still be seen for a second or almost two. This was all still in daylight hours. Clear sky, no clouds. Just before or right at 9:00pm. I saw as I was leaving my house from inside through my front, south facing window. It was as high as you’d expect to see a helicopter traveling southeast.
