Reports Report 3797h (Event 3797-2021)

Observer
Name Sandeep B
Experience Level 2/5
Remarks The hour was moonless. Sky was very clear and dark. I live on the Cougar Mountain, which always has a very good dark sky. I was explaining to my friend and his daughter a method to locate and observe the middle double star of the handle of the Big Deeper (Mizar and Alcor Double Star System). So, all 3 of us were focused on the handle of the Big Deeper. That is when we saw the object. I had the better open position as compared to other two (there are trees around our observation points). I have seen meteors and shooting start events before. I was in the middle of explanation of the Mizar, Alcor observation to my friend and his daughter, that is when I was absolutely rendered speech less for a few seconds with what I saw. It was definitely a once in a life time event for me. Big THANK YOU to all of you to maintain this observation and reporting data bases.
