Remarks we were in our back yard (in the suburbs) approx 11 pm. it was a very clear sky. we both saw this round orange glow coming towards us from due south kinda low and on an even plane. moving somewhat slow, almost floating like. there were 4 total. one after another about a minute or so apart. each one lasting about a minute or so start to finish. definately orange and bigger than any plane or helicopter. no flashing lights either. had binocs. they came staight towards us , almost right over us and then made a 90' turn and went due east. they all followed the exact same path. no trails or smoke. no flare ups. just disapperead in the eastern sky. we were so stunned that neither of us could break away to go get a camera. i know we should have but we just couldn't move. all we could do was stare in disbelief. and this was definately NOT the meteor that everyone else saw.
