Reports Report 2983cu (Event 2983-2021)

Observer
Name John P
Experience Level 5/5
Remarks Tail was long and pronounced and formed about one second after the meteor appeared. This looked to have a greenish tint to it. Tail stretched out as meteor crossed the sky - would estimate it stretched for 20 degrees at its maximum length. Passed directly overhead travelling roughly SSE to NNW and lasted approximately 6 seconds. Colour shifted to bright white just prior to fragmentation - reminiscent of burning magnesium in a Bunsen burner.
